Gratitude Story Audio Recordings - Guided Meditations
I created these gratitude stories after listening to a podcast by Andrew Huberman, a neuroscience PhD at Stanford University, about the science of gratitude.
Studies show that a gratitude practice:
- Increases focus and resilience
- Improves mental and physical health
- Reduce symptoms of anxiety
- And more!
But the typical gratitude practice of writing 3 things you're grateful for each day is NOT the most effective way to practice gratitude.
It turns out, a gratitude practice rooted in story is the most effective way to receive the benefits of gratitude.
Watch the video below to learn more about the protocol:
All of the gratitude stories I created are true stories.
First, I recorded my friends and family telling me their stories about gratitude.
Then I sent the recordings to a professional short story writer. The writer cleaned the stories up and made them compelling and cathartic.
Once the written stories were finished, I sent them to an audiobook narrator to turn into guided meditations.
I hope you enjoy them!
